College Preparatory Academy
The Target Hope College Preparatory Academy is a college prep program like no other. Designed for high school students in their sophomore or junior year; Target Hope offers an opportunity of a lifetime.
That opportunity is the chance for high school students who are on the path to matriculation into a 4 year college or university to be given supplemental enhancement classes in addition to their traditional Monday through Friday curriculum.
The classes offered are: Geometry, Algebra-Trig, Pre-Calculus, English, Communication, African-American History, as well as Leadership Development Workshops such as Male Responsibility and How to Deal with Drug and Alcohol Abuse. These courses are offered every Saturday at the DePaul University Lewis Center at 25 East Jackson on the 10th floor.
Requirements for the program include a half page essay from interested students with a minimum 2.5 GPA on why they would like to be part of the program as well as a $25 registration fee.

Since 1994 Target Hope has formed strategic alliances with several colleges and universities across the country.
Admissions and Financial Aid Officers, Deans, Provosts, and even Presidents of the Universities greet the Target Hope Coach and offer a true insider's guide into the world of applying for college.
