According to a University of Chicago Consortium study only 8% of minorities, including African-American and Latino males, graduate from a four year university in six years. Moreover, only 30% of minorities are matriculating from colleges and universities across the nation. We attribute this to lack of financial planning, ineffective university selection, and students being ill prepared both psychologically and emotionally for college life.

Inherent in the Target Hope mission are innovative strategies to reverse the spiraling drop out crisis in high school and college.

Target Hope since 1998 has sent 3,350 students to college with a 100% graduation rate from high school. To date our students matriculate from our 26 Consortium universities within five years with a sensational graduation rate of 98%.

Participants average a 3.3 undergraduate GPA while 55% opt to attend graduate and professional school.
