Programs - College Tours
The fall semester commences on September 20, 2008 and is held at DePaul University. Your attendance is mandatory for acceptance into the program.
Classes commence at 9:00 am until 1:00 pm.
To date, 125 (2007) recent Target Hope graduates will be attending colleges that they were introduced to during college tours. The average grade point average for the 2007 class was 3.73 and norm ACT was 24.0. Participants received over $4.0 million Dollars in merit based scholarships. This correspondence should serve as a preliminary invitation to our "Journey to Excellence" college tour, which will be held, from August 18-29, 2007.

Cost ($495.00) covers transportation on passenger coach and hotel accommodations. If interested, please forward a deposit of $100.00 by July 15, 2008. Additional payment of $150.00 is due on August 1, 2008, and balance due during parent/student orientation on August 15, 2008.
Please understand that Target Hope is a 501 O (3) tax-exempt organization founded in 1994 for youth development, academic achievement, college access and increased graduation rates. Target Hope is the BP Amoco Pre-College Program of the year and was recently highlighted in the Washington University Alumni Newsletter.
College Tours Target Hope offers "Journey to Excellence" college tours during the spring and summer of each year. Our organization provides personalized campus visits where teenagers interact with faculty, administrators and college students. Only Target Hope participants are invited to participate on the college tour. To date, 80% of our participants enroll in colleges introduced to them on our "Journey to Excellence" college tours.
